One of my professors often started lecture by showing us the market rates for his favorite cryptocurrencies; his interest in this topic manifested itself into an introductory lecture on blockchain technology. I took an immediate interest, and wrote my weekly assignment on the applications of blockchain technology in supply chain integrity. Further research into what's next for our world as we know it led me to discover IIoT, and I can't get enough. These systems have limitless applications and endless possibility; and I can't wait to be a part of the group that realizes these technologies on the floor. I read just about anything and everything I can find, and I try my very best to attend lectures and discussions, but I know I still have a whole world of knowledge to develop.
I'm semi-active in this space on Twitter - check it out here!
I was born and raised in Minnesota, the most beautiful, friendliest, and coldest state in the union. It also has the greatest hiking. I lived a short hour and a half drive from the north shore of Lake Superior, where I spent days hiking in state parks to see the trees, the rocks, the mighty Mississippi, and waterfalls that I couldn't take my eyes off of. Since then, I have hiked up the Swiss Alps to visit a beautiful mountain and in the Aran Islands to look out on the Atlantic Ocean. Send me your favorite spots; it gives me an excuse to bring out my Chacos.
I have a passion for making a fool of myself, and there's no better place to do so than at summer camp. I've been a Girl Scout longer than I can remember - so I've attended my fair share of summer camps, and worked at a few more. The best part of it all is that no matter where I am, what songs I sing, or what traditions I honor, one thing holds constant; everyone at camp is wholly and unabashedly themselves.
Please enjoy these photos of me in my element. Yes, I am the one in the blow-up cowboy costume and fake mustache.
